"Can't connect to the Degoo server. Connecting..."

Update Degoo

This issue has been fixed in recent versions of Degoo. For Windows and Mac, you can download the latest stable version of Degoo here (https://degoo.com/download).

Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall

This issue may also be caused by an antivirus program. The Degoo client communicates with our servers using an encrypted connection. Some antivirus programs, such as Kaspersky, will try to decyrpt this connection in order to scan it. They will simply drop the connection if they cannot decrypt it, resulting to the Degoo client being unable to communicate with our servers.

If you encounter this error, we suggest you do the following:
  1. Exit the Degoo client by right clicking on its icon on the system tray, then selecting "Close".
  2. Disable your antivirus.
  3. Run the Degoo client.
